Welcome to the Dealer Settings tab! Below we'll go through a brief overview of the tabs within the Dealer Settings.
Accessing Dealer Settings
Step 1: Log into OrderMyGear by going to: https://login.ordermygear.com/.
Step 2: Enter your user credentials into the Email & Password fields. Or, if you have Google SSO you can click "Sign in with Google" where you'll be prompted to sign in with your Google login.
Note: If you don't have a user account yet reach out to the Owner of the OMG account where they can then add you as a new user.
Step 3: Once logged in, click the vertical lines, then "Dealer Settings".
Dealer Settings tabs
After you click "Dealer Setting" you'll be brought to a page similar to the image below. You can then navigate to a specific tab by clicking the tab on the left-hand side. Below we'll break down the contents of each tab.
My Information
The relevant fields for the information relating to your user account.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone
- Service email
- Service phone
Change Password
You can create a new OrderMyGear password in 1 of 2 ways.
- Option 1: Enter a new password into the "Change Password" tab within Dealer Settings. All passwords must be 8 characters in length.
- Option 2: When you log in you'll see a "Forgot Password?" prompt. Click "Forgot Password?" where you'll be taken to a new screen to reset your password. If you don't receive the password reset email within a few minutes check your spam/junk folder or contact support@ordermygear.com.
Email Notifications
You can adjust your email notification settings for the relevant fields below.
- When a sale expires: Set the frequency you receive emails for when a store closes on the OMG account.
- When an order is placed: Set the frequency you're emailed for all orders placed account-wide.
- When a refund is given: You'll be notified when a refund is processed account-wide.
- When stock is low: This works in tandem with the below setting on how often this email should be sent.
- Stock notification level: When a quantity dips below this trigger amount in any store you'll receive a notification email on the cadence of the "When stock is low" setting. This function works off of quantity amounts set using product quantity limits.
- Extra recipients: You can add multiple recipients to receive the above emails based on your settings.
Dealer Settings
Dealer Settings defaults are for your OrderMyGear account as a whole.
- Images/Logos: Dealer Logo shows on Stores, Flyers, Group Portal, Reports, and multiple Email Notifications. If there is not a primary logo included in the store design tab, this logo will be used. Accepted file types are PNG and JPG.
- Receipt Barcodes:
- Barcode format: You can choose between three different types of bar codes on your receipts (or none) to make it easier to look up orders within your own system.
- C 128
- C 39
- QR Code
- Barcode placement: You can choose between three locations for the location of the barcode on receipts.
- Top Right
- Bottom Left
- Bottom Right
- Barcode format: You can choose between three different types of bar codes on your receipts (or none) to make it easier to look up orders within your own system.
- Supplier Inventory Management: You have the ability to opt out of the SIM feature. By default, this is turned on but if you would like to turn this feature off select "No" from the dropdown, then "Save Changes".
Default Settings (Parent Accounts)
Here you can set default settings for all child accounts to simplify account setup. Default settings will automatically be applied to new child accounts and can be configured at the child account level. Settings include:
- Calculated Taxes (Keep in mind, calculated taxes cannot be used on a Purchase Order store.)
- Deadline Stores Schedule
- Stores Without a Deadline Schedule
- Deposit Format
Users
You can see a list of all active users on the account. If there is a user that shouldn't be on the account reach out to support@ordermygear.com. To invite a new user you'll enter their email in the "Email Address:" field, then "Send Invite". After you've sent the invitation you'll see a list of all recent invites, if they were accepted, and who accepted the invitation.
Pro Tip: Email invitations are only valid for one hour. If the user doesn't receive the invitation email within a few minutes have them check their spam/junk folder or contact support@ordermygear.com.
OMG Payments
Deposits will be made to the bank account listed within this tab. You can also set your Statement Descriptor here. This is how the customer's purchase from your store will show on their credit card statement.
Billing
By default, the bank account added in the OMG Payments tab will display on this page. If you would like invoices to be pulled from a different account you can click the "Add Payment Method" button in the top right corner of the page. This payment method will be charged if you use the OMG Service team to build stores, invoices, invoices of OMG fees on PO stores, disputes, etc.
Store Tax Settings
Ensure your tax information is filled out. This information is used when using the Calculate Taxes Automatically feature in your stores. When enabled, this feature will automatically calculate taxes per customer based on your business nexuses, product tax categories, and customer shipping information. You'll want to make sure to add any nexus locations if you have a physical presence there. This includes:
- Having an office.
- Having an employee.
- Having a warehouse.
- Having an affiliate.
- Storing inventory.
- Drop shipping from a 3rd party provider.
- Temporarily doing physical business in a state/province for a limited amount of time, such as at a trade show or craft fair.
If you’re unsure about which states/provinces you’re obligated to charge sales tax in, please reach out to your tax professional.
Store Template
Filling out the Store Template defaults will significantly decrease store building time and ensure a unified look, feel, and verbiage across all of your stores. Any setting can still be updated on a per-store basis even when your store defaults are filled out. Shipping
There are three tabs within the Shipping tab- Shipping, Package, and Label. The shipping tab will contain all carrier shipping methods integrated into the account in addition to all tiered shipping methods that have been added to the account. To add a new carrier shipping method follow this help center article. Also, here are the relevant help center articles for the Package tab, and Label tab.
Support Pin
In order to validate that you are the account holder, OMG Support may ask you for your Support PIN. The Support PIN is a unique number that is assigned to your account, refreshing every hour after you've visited the tab.
Artwork
This tab is a library of images right within the app. You can upload artwork using the "Upload" button, fill in the relevant fields, then "Upload artwork". All uploaded artwork will then go to the "List" tab where you can reaccess the images when needed.
Custom Statuses
This tab will allow you to create statuses that you can apply to orders within a store. For a full walkthrough on setting up custom statuses, click here.
Integrations
The integrations tab will only be available to marked Owners, and Accountants on the OMG account. Here you can set up your integration with:
Premium Features
All premium features are located within this tab. Premium features can only be accessed by marked Owners/Accounts of the OMG account. By default, these features are turned off, however, you can turn on Advanced Branding, White Label, and the Storefront Experience here. Additionally, if you need to cancel a premium feature that will be done by clicking "Edit Subscription".
