When creating shipping labels within our software, you may find yourself re-entering the same package dimensions over and over. Rather than constantly recreating the package types that you often use, you can create custom package templates, which will save you a lot of time and effort!

Step 1: Hover over the Gear icon at the top of your page and click on "Dealer Settings".
Step 2: Click on the "Shipping" tab.
Step 3: Click on the "Package" tab.
Step 4: Click on the green "Add Package Template" button.
Step 5: Click on the dropdown to select a "Package Type".
Step 6: We've preloaded the information on all the common package types from the big shipping carriers, but if those don't work for your purposes, click on "Custom Packaging" at the top of the list.
Step 7: If you are using Custom Packaging, you must type in a package name and dimensions.
Step 8: Next type in a weight for the packaging. Please keep in mind that it defaults to Ounces.
Step 9: If you want to make this the default package template for label creation, click the checkbox next to the weight.
Step 10: Make sure you click on the green "Save" button.
Now whenever you want to create a shipping label, this template will be available to choose or set as the default. Click here if you want to learn how to create a shipping label in our software!
