Verify Your FedEx Account by April 30, 2026
FedEx is upgrading its system to a new, more secure API. To ensure your shipping operations continue without interruption, you must verify your connected FedEx account on our platform by April 30, 2026. If your account is not verified by this deadline, you will be unable to purchase FedEx labels until the process is complete. Your negotiated FedEx rates and authorized services will remain exactly the same.
How to Verify Your Account
When you navigate to your shipping view, you will be prompted to verify your existing FedEx account. If you manage multiple FedEx accounts, you must complete this verification process for each account individually; for existing accounts, you may need to remove and re-add your account before you are prompted. You can complete this via the provided form and by using one of two methods:
- Verification Code: A code will be sent to your registered FedEx email, phone (voice), or SMS. You might receive multiple verification pins from FedEx, in which case make sure to use the latest one and click "resend" if your code doesn't work.
- Invoice Validation: You will need your most recent FedEx invoice to provide the invoice number, date, amount, and currency and upload it on the form.
The following information will be needed to complete verification:
- FedEx Account Number
- Your Contact Information (this information must exactly match the information in your FedEx account, letter for letter)
- FedEx Shipping Address
- SmartPost Hub ID (optional/if applicable)
Finally, if you ship internationally, there are a few extra steps to complete before you finish verification:
- Click the checkmark for "Allow purchase of international (cross-border) labels through this account."
- Upload your company logo and digital signature where prompted.
- Logo: less than 5MB, max 700×50 pixels, GIF or PNG format only.
- Signature: less than 5MB, max 240×25 pixels, GIF or PNG format only.
Important Changes to Label Requirements
As soon as you verify your account, FedEx's new security and data requirements will immediately take effect. Please update your shipping practices to avoid label generation errors:
- Phone Numbers are Mandatory: A valid phone number (10 to 15 digits) is now strictly required for both the sender and the recipient. Labels will fail to generate without this.
- Updated Character Limits: FedEx will reject labels if the shipping fields do not meet the following limits:
| Field | Minimum Characters | Maximum Characters |
| Name | 3 | 70 |
| Company (Optional) | 3 | 35 |
