When you create a new store or edit a store, you will land on the General tab! Using OMG's Organization, Group, & Store Type fields you have an easy way to manage store information & improve consistency across your stores.
Add/Edit Organization:
Step 1: Enter in the desired name of the organization.
Step 2: Click "New Organization: Organization Name". If the name has been used previously, it will appear in the dropdown.
Once an Organization is selected or created and the changes have been saved, an edit option will appear.
To edit a name you will click on the "Edit" button, then you can rename or archive that organization.
Archiving an organization removes that organization from the organization drop-down.
Archived organizations still assigned to previous stores will have “(Archived)” after the organization name.
You can restore an organization by creating a new store, entering the name of the previously archived organization, and clicking "Restore".
Add Group:
Step 1: To add a custom Group option you will click the Group field.
Step 2: Select “Other” from the dropdown list & type in your custom Group in the "Enter group name" box that populates under Other.
Add Store Type:
Step 1: To add a custom Store Type option you will click the Store Type field.
Step 2: Select “Other” from the dropdown list & type in your custom Group in the "Enter group name" box that populates under Other.
