As OrderMyGear becomes a fully integrated platform for Pop-up Stores, Company Stores, and Redemption Stores, we are excited to introduce a new login experience. This will make it easier to access all the information you need within the OrderMyGear platform, especially as we add more products and services to our pipeline in the near future.
Over the next few weeks, you may notice a new login page that is presented to you after an initial login to one of the OrderMyGear apps: OMG, BrightStores, and BrightOrders.
What to do when you see the new login page:
If you see the new login page for the first time after initial login to OrderMyGear, BrightStores, or BrightOrders, follow these instructions.
Step 1: Log into the new login page by using the same email and password credentials you do today.
For those who use Google login with OMG app, you must log in using email and password the first time but can go back to using Google login next time.
Step 2: You should be redirected to the app you intended to log into, meaning you’ve been successfully logged in using the new Auth0 experience. If you use the same email address to log into multiple apps on the OMG platform, repeat this process when you see the new login page for each app. If you have a different password for different platform(s), you must enter the password you used in Step 1 to match the credentials for your desired app.
Once you have logged in successfully with your credentials, you will be redirected to use the new login page going forward.
What if I forgot my password?
The "Forgot Password" prompt will work with the new login page if you have successfully logged in through this page once. If not, you'll need to follow the "Forgot Password" prompt on the old login page.
Step 1: When you land on the login page click the "Forgot Password?" prompt.
Step 2: This will direct you to a field where you can input your email address.
Step 3: You'll then click "Send" where a link will then be emailed to the inputted address, wherein you can recover your password.
FAQ's:
Q: Will I need to update my bookmarked tab?
A: No! You will not need to change the URLs to your login page for any app.
Q: Can I update my email address or password after I enroll in the new login experience?
A: Yes! For multi-app users, the last set of credentials you last updated in one app will then be the set of credentials you use to log in to all of your apps. You'll never have to worry about multiple passwords again!
Q: Why am I seeing the old login screen again?
A: You will need to log in through both old and new login pages, in that order. After the enrollment period is over in the next few months, you will only use the new login page to log into your app(s). This will only happen after you have explicitly logged out of an app.
Q: What happens if I clear my cache and cookies?
A: If you clear cache, the next time you login in you'll be brought back to the old login page. You'll then have to login through both login pages. Once this is done you're good to go moving forward!
