Add Flat Rate/Tiered Shipping to Order That Has Been Placed

Do you need to add shipping to an order that has already been placed? This article will show you how to add a Flat Rate or Tiered Shipping to the order. For adding USPS/UPS or other shipping carriers to an order that has been placed, take a look here. Here are the steps to add a flat rate or tiered shipping method to an existing order: 

Step 1: Go "Manage Orders" tab on the lefthand of the store

Step 2: Click the Order ID that you need to switch the shipping method

Step 3: Proceed to "Edit" under Action

Step 4: Go to the "Products" tab

Step 5: Next to the shipping option, click "Edit"

Step 6: Select the shipping method you want to add

Step 7: Click "Update" then hit "Save & Return".

Step 8: If there is a balance due, it will take you to the "Charges & Refunds" tab automatically. You will select the Payment Method from the dropdown and hit submit. After you submit the charge, click on "Order details".

Step 9: If there is no charge, after clicking Save & Return, click on the Order details tab. Now you will now be able to add the shipping information for the customer.

Note: If it's the same as the billing information, you can click "Same As Billing" and it will automatically fill in the information. Otherwise, you can type in the name and the shipping address

Step 10: Click Save & Return 

Now the order will have the shipping added to the order!
