Here are the steps to refund the tax and/or fees on an order that has been placed in your store.
Step 1: Go to "Edit Store".
Step 2: Go to the "Taxes & Fees" tab.
Step 3: Either toggle the calculated tax off or remove the manual tax and any fees you are wanting to refund.
Step 4: Go to the customer's order.
Step 5: Click "Edit" on the lefthand sidebar.
Step 6: Go to the "Products" tab within the order.
Step 7: At the bottom of the order, click "Update", the sales tax and any fees you turned off will be removed and the amount will automatically calculate.
Step 8: Go to the "Charges & Refunds" tab, select the "Refund Method" via the drop-down, and press "Submit Refund".
Step 9: Once complete, remember to go back and add the tax/fees to the store, if needed, so no other orders are affected.
