If you are wanting to sell items in specific quantity amounts or give pricing breaks, you can use the following instructions to set up your products.
Step 1: Edit the store and go to the "Products" tab.
Step 2: Create or add the product that you're wanting to include quantity breaks for.
Step 3: Set the "Base price" at $0.
Step 4: Now, proceed to the "Sizes & Options" tab.
Step 5: In the bottom right corner, click "manage global options".
Step 6: Select "Add New Option".
Step 7: Add an "Internal Name" and "Display Name" of Quantity or another name that best represents the use case.
Step 8: Set the "Input Type" to Choice and the "Kind" as General.
Step 9: In the "Drop-down Options", you can set up the quantity amounts you want to offer then click Enter/Return on your keyboard after each option you want to add.
- Example: Box of 50, Box of 100, Box of 200, Box of 250, Box of 500, Box of 1000
Step 10: Once you've entered each of the quantity amounts you want to include, click the "Checkmark" at the top of the box before clicking "Done".
- You may need to refresh your browser and re-select that product again.
Step 11: On the "Sizes & options" tab, click "Add Option" then "Select an option" from the drop-down. Now, you can select the option you created.
Step 12: Click the dropdown under "Option Value" and select all quantities you want to include.
Step 13: Select "Make Required".
Step 14: In the Upcharges, enter the total price that it costs to order that specific quantity amount.
Step 15: Click the green "Checkmark" to save the option.
Note: if you need to make edits to the upcharge totals after saving the option, click the pencil icon next to the Quantity option and it will allow you to type in the upcharge amounts into the box. Make sure to click the checkmark to re-save the changes.
These quantity amounts will now show on your store for customers to select their desired quantity amount and will be charged the amount of the upcharge.
Step 16: On the general tab of the product, you can set the purchase limit to 1 so that the customer will only select the desired quantity from the drop-down option you created.
